ABC Fitness Firm runs a program that makes kids’ playtime organized, systematic and competitive. Training is conducted in housing societies and schools. They give quality sports education to children of the age group of 4 to 16 years and charge very less fees per month. They have 85 certified coaches. The sports that are offered here are basketball, badminton, tennis, and gymnastics. Their students have represented in international level sports competitions. They have started a new concept of inter-team competition for the local children called Pro league. This gives a platform to the base-level sports and it is live telecasted. Out of the total children about 5% to 10% are playing at state and national championships. Their total number of students is 2500 and per student, fees are ₹1000.

The pitchers made an ask of ₹40 lakhs for 2% equity of the company at the valuation of ₹20 crores.

Their monthly sales are 25 lacs. They are a profit-making firm. In FY 22 to 23 the projected sales is 4.5 crores. Their profit is 40%. Out of total revenue, 45% goes to coaches, 5% is for maintenance, 5% is for tournament expenses, and 5% to miscellaneous charges. Next year their targeted revenue is 6 crores.

Offers and counter offer

Peyush was given an offer of ₹40 lakhs for 10% equity of the company at the valuation of ₹4 crores
Founders give a counter offer of ₹40 lakhs for 6% equity of the company at the valuation of ₹6.67 crores.

The final deal was closed with Peyush at ₹40 lakhs for 10% equity of the company at the valuation of ₹4 crores.
